A few years ago my best friends and I took a trip for Ashley’s birthday. All she wanted was to see the fall leaves turn, and so that’s what we set out to do. I’m admittedly not the best hiker. I would love to watch the fall leaves fall from a cafe table or a hot tub. But it was an incredible feeling to be absolutely submerged in autumnal goodness — the best nature has to offer.
